Create a ‘Meat Free Mondog’ and win veggie hotdogs for life!
MFM is teaming up with vegetarian fast food restaurant Not Dogs to help them introduce a brand new hotdog to their menu
Offering exciting ‘meaty without the meat’ fast food, Not Dogs, located within Birmingham’s iconic Bullring shopping centre, is popular with veggies, vegans and meat-eaters alike. The restaurant was created by Katie and Jane, one meat-reducer and one vegetarian, both with a love of quick, very tasty and exciting food.
With an all-veggie menu of exclusive Not Dogs with house-made toppings, tasty burgers and crispy fries, the restaurant now wants to add a new item to its menu in celebration of Meat Free Monday – the ‘Meat Free Mondog’!
And they want your help …
Simply come up with a topping for the Meat Free Mondog, send it to Not Dogs and the winning dog (which Meat Free Monday will help select) will be featured on the Not Dogs menu in Birmingham.
The winner will also receive Not Dogs for life (one a day forever!) and an exclusive goodie bag including a Not Dogs cap, T-shirt and apron, discounts at Not Dogs Birmingham and a copy of The Meat Free Monday Cookbook. Two runners up will also receive goodie bags.
There are no rules but toppings will need to suit either the Not Dogs Vegetarian Bratwurst, which is lightly seasoned, or the Vegan Dog which is a smoked hotdog style sausage. All ingredients must, of course, be meat free!
For inspiration, feel free to look at what is currently on the restaurant menu, or check out Not Dogs recipe for the Kickin’ Katie Nacho Dog, shared on the MFM website courtesy of Not Dogs.
To enter the competition, please go to Not Dogs’ Facebook competition page and complete the form, or enter via email (info at notdogs.co.uk/meatfreemondog). Best of luck – we can’t wait to try the new Meat Free Mondog!
