With the aim of selling beautiful products and giving something back to less fortunate girls and women around the world at the same time, Brand of Sisters thinks that every start up company should act with responsibility and compassion towards a better world.
“Meat Free Monday is easy, fun, and healthy and it helps to raise awareness of the complexity of problems related to meat,” say founders Martina Vondruska and Barbara Portaluri. “With the belief that small steps lead to big outcomes, we at Brand of Sisters follow Meat Free Monday and the philosophy of flexitarianism.”
Brand of Sisters is one of the many diverse businesses which back the campaign, including online supermarket Ocado, sportswear manufacturer Puma, hospitality chain Louis Hotels and airline Malmö Aviation. Check out all of MFM’s supporters here.
Businesses can get involved by promoting the campaign and encouraging staff members to eat meat free on Mondays, e.g. by increasing veggie options or going completely meat free, running promotions on veggie food or organising meat free ‘pot lucks’ and events.
