Ingredients

  • 270 g *ground almonds (almond flour)
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 130 g chocolate sauce (e.g. Sweet Freedom Choc Shot)

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Whisk the almond flour and baking powder together in a medium bowl. Switch to a wooden spoon and stir in the chocolate sauce. Stir until a sticky dough forms and holds together.

Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, about one inch apart. Press the dough down and mould into egg shapes. Bake until the edges are golden brown, about 12 minutes.

Allow the cookies to cool for about 3 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Decorate with a drizzle of chocolate sauce!

“All of our delicious Choc Shot flavours work in this recipe or use one of our other Syrups such as Caramel”

* If you can’t find ground almonds (almond flour) add blanched almonds to a high-speed blender and blend until a fine, powdery flour is achieved!
