Full of flavour, but no sugar whatsoever, these Cocoa Raisin Balls make a healthy dessert option.

  • 165 g almonds
  • 125 g pumpkin seeds
  • 125 g sunflower seeds
  • 180 g raisins
  • 4 tablespoons desiccated coconut
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence


Soak the seeds and nuts overnight in filtered water.

After soaking, drain and dry the seeds and nuts.

When dry, pour the seeds and nuts in blender to blend until a coarse paste forms.

Add the raisins, cocoa powder, vanilla and coconut. Blend until a hard paste forms.

Roll into small balls.

Leave overnight to set.
