For the hotdogs

  • 4 of your favourite meat free sausages
  • 4 hotdog rolls
  • 100 g grated Cheddar or vegan cheese (e.g. Cheezly)
  • 16 jalapeño slices
  • a handful of crushed tortilla chips

For the guacamole

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 3 jalapeño slices
  • 1 tablespoon houmous
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • juice of ½ lime
  • pinch of salt


Cook your favourite meat free sausages according to the instructions.

In the meantime, make your guacamole …

Chop up the avocado, removing the skin – add it to the food processor and give it a whizz (if you don’t have a processor, simply mash with a fork).

Add all the other ingredients to the avocado.

Whizz it all up until you get the desired consistency.

Once your sausages are perfectly cooked, pop them into the top-sliced buns.

Now it’s time to get creative with your toppings – we suggest a swirl of guacamole across each sausage using a spoon, then add your grated ‘cheese’ of choice, next crush up the nachos on top and finally finish with a line of 4 jalapeños.
